About the Department
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is committed to promoting mental health through excellence in patient care, medical education, and research. The department provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for a wide range of psychiatric, psychological, and behavioral disorders across all age groups. It equips medical students with the knowledge and clinical skills needed to recognize, diagnose, and manage mental health conditions with compassion and professionalism. Clinical training includes outpatient services, inpatient care, emergency psychiatry, and community mental health exposure.
