The Department of Orthopedics is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders affecting the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and spine. The department provides comprehensive care for trauma, fractures, sports injuries, congenital deformities, and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions. It offers high-quality undergraduate clinical teaching, emphasizing evidence-based practice and hands-on training. Students gain practical experience through outpatient clinics, ward rotations, emergency care, and operating theatre exposure. The department is committed to excellence in patient care, medical education, research, and continuous professional development. Through a multidisciplinary approach, it strives to restore mobility, relieve pain, and improve the quality of life of patients.
